     Phase 1
My friends have all painted once or twice in the past year alone, redecorated and torn out entire kitchens.. but, painting my own walls … I own the Chicken suit.
I promised myself some color.. after I got finished with …

Well, my own true colors were …. I opened a magazine one day and Ureka!
It was THE perfect color for my palette.
I literally showered and went to the store.. Two stores!  and checked out their paint chips because they did not have THIS brand.
I went to the Valspar store but the paint chip was way dark.. even though it was honestly light.
I went a few shades lighter,

I did not notice until I got home and went to write the color on the lid.. but there it was in tiny label print..
I almost cried.. after all that and months of looking.. it was the WRONG… but then the paint person pulled the top chip from the top of my pile and not the one I had set aside….
had I spent literally days ( adding up my time)  checking paint chips in different lights.

What the *&@&=*6* do I have to do without micro-managing every one and every thing. (I’m Retired!. for gawds sake) and I am 45 minutes away from the paint store… that is one and a half hours round trip…

All things said.. it was probably my fault … I would not wish to get another person in trouble (unless they were mean spirited)   but the young man was a delight.
Nothing to do, but go buy another gallon tomorrow (today) or Monday…

Over night.. I thought about ways to make this paint ‘work’ .. It is light, so the ‘wash’ idea is out… but, IF I painted something decorative on top of it… on it.. I could .

     Here is phase 1
Not a bad color, in fact it is a very nice color.. just not what I had finally planned … but wait ’till you see phase
    Fini..

I have no idea why I always blog my messes.. could be I’m proud because I am so good at it lol
There’s Steve! …watching his races ( or trying to)

     Another fine mess~

You’ll have to look close… ( the shelf line above the clock)

Just like old times.. Paint brushes and tray in the ‘fridge’
for those little missed spots ( holidays) . My friend Kevin does this, too..

This pretty much says it !
