I Am So Thankful
I KNOW! I have so much to be thankful for!
I woke up ready for Thanksgiving.
I have finished all the prep slice and dice I can get done ahead of time. Some things just have to wait until the final prep.I’ve been eyeing that Turkey.. Still some frozen areas. I better help that along…
Just so you know ahead of time, I will not be using Pepper Spray on my turkey this year… . obviously there was NONE left on the shelves.
Literally, every space on my cabinets is taken up with the serving vessels waiting to be filled with something…. with any items that item will need.Pies are out of the oven and cooling…
It’s just no fun to have to stop and hunt something the day of….. It will be busy enough.
Staging is my way of relieving the last minute stresses.
I have some great seedy/grainy whole wheat bread is drying out and the ‘Happy Craisins’ are plumping in Christian Brothers.There is still the totes to be washed and ready because all this has to go to to another site..
Sigh! … Didn’t need that change …( ’nuff said) and there is the drink cooler to fill.The washer is humming with a load of fabric towels, the fruit and veggie trimmings are already in the composter and the 3/4 roll of used paper towels are out in the trash.
Right now that Baileys is calling my name..
Life is good!… I am thankful.
