As Y2011 is rushing to a close I have mentally rerun events.
 
Ouch … ouch  There was a few things I hope never to repeat.
On the other side of the page, if my smile gets any wider I’m going to need surgery~

My family is in my life and healthy. I have the greatest friends that I also consider family.

The Cancers that have plagued  me have bent to the wand on my  fabulous medical team.

(I will not further mention the political scene because I wish to remain in my positive walk)

I have packed away the house tree and ornaments I have used this year. With a sigh and a “Say goodnight, Gracie’, it awaits the hand of Steve to restore to it’s proper place until  next year.  
       
Debi and I decided.. what seems forever ago, to be truly and efficiently organized.  
In the middle of all this, she and Todd relocated their household..and is now global. LOL

She has furnished and few homes with her treasures.

When I recognized that it is a life style that needed goals, it is easier … and going along well. I enjoy that because I am retired, I’m not just parked.  
When I look around I see I have liberated myself..
I best see results in my ( greatly downsized) closet.. Clothing is not crammed .I was still able to come up with some party clothes that fit me and the occasions without running out and buying something more.

I will not have to wash, protect and otherwise care for the treasures that no longer live here.

My weight loss has been another shining star in 2011. I went from 176 to 152.2 today. .Phenominal!
… so some of the new closet was because of weigh loss.

Debi has her Amazing bragging rights, too. Hopefully she’ll post.

With all the furniture, clothing and treasures relocating everywhere, I’d say we ALL had a pretty good year.

I do see some rocks in the road ahead.. but, there will always be rocks in our road. We will just have to push them aside or walk around them as we encounter them.
I have way more friends and family than rocks..

Year 2012 … BRING IT!
