I swept this little Gecko up yesterday. He may be the tiniest one yet.. certainly new born.
Obviously he is new and has not read the ‘No Gecko’s in the House’ rule.
I let him jump into a planter where he will find food and safety.
so cute, but tooooooooooo small to cuddle

OH…My…Gosh…that is the sweetest little gecko. So precious and lucky he found you for a housemate! marilyn
When I was a teen I saved a little lizard not much bigger than that little guy! I was swimming in my dad’s pool as he skimmed out the leaves and bugs. He said “Oh look, a baby lizard fell in.” and tapped him out on the deck near the edge of the pool. My step-sister and I went over to see it and I grabbed a small twig and rolled the little guy onto his tummy. I said “I’m gonna give him cpr.” Everyone snickered and even I laughed, but hey, why not? I took the small twig and gently pushed on his little back 3 or 4 times, stopped, then did it again. Nothing. I said “Come on, get the water out!” and pushed a few more times. My step sister said “When you do that, look at his little ‘gills’ or whatever they are on the side.” I pushed 2 more times and saw them ripple. Next thing we knew, the eyes popped open, his mouth gaped open and the sides moved on their own!!! We both screamed “OH MY GOD!” and stared. He stood there a second, looked around and darted off into the bushes. My dad stood there laughing for the longest time and we were all “WE SAVED HIM!! YAY!!!!!!!!!” lol
