  • Daisy

This dog is so smart (somedays) ... one day she 'gets it' and the next... nothing.... or so it seems. Especially about her house training. I cannot figure out what she is thinking or what message she is getting/not getting from me.

Daisy is usually good in the mornings about where to 'go', but later, in the afternoon.. all that is not evident. Acts like she has no clue. I am told that unless she lives with other house trained dogs that can teach her instantly, it will be difficult, especially with terriers... might be about 2 years.    sigh!  I need to find one of the new training systems...

After that..this puppy is so smart... she makes up her own games, know the names of her toys and will go get them when we ask  About 90%)...

          Daisy moves her bed 007c

She has moved her bed almost office into the hallway so she can watch both Steve and me.

She usually turns this over, she likes it best with a bit more cushy, I guess.

For some reason, she likes to stuff toys into Steve's boots.. he shoves his socks in there so what is she thinking?

She likes to put toys on his chair.. some sort of a gift? So, is parking her red dog along with his socks.. is it a gift or does she think she too, has to stuff something in there?

She has done that several times What ever she is thinking , it is on purpose.

daisy is a never ending sourse of laughter and joy. I am so glad she is in our lives!

Debi fixed my computer last night.. I went to bed happy... only thing is, this morning, I see it had reset itself to the old problem or two..

Later on today, she will see me not on again and figure it out... One thing, I need a new signal router...

  • Daisy is so cute!  My dogs do silly, crazy things too.  Our pets are a wonderful source of entertainment aren't they

  • Daisy seems like a very bright dog. Who knows why she does what she does, but she does it for her good reasons I'm sure!! Maybe she is hiding her toy in the boots rather than hiding it behind a sofa or in a corner. I think it's pretty cool that she moves her bed so she can keep you in her view.

Some breeds are harder to potty train than others. But consistency is definitely the key, just like with kids. lol Or maybe she just simply prefers to go where she chooses. After all, isn't the whole yard on big potty for a dog? lol

  • When you write abougt Daisy I laugh abougt all the cute things she's done. I hope she don't stop dooing all the cute things that she does. You got a very smart puppy there.

  • Daisy is mighty cute, she is smart and she will catch on in no time!!!

  • Hope she's not like my shih tzu was.  That dog lived for 17 years and refused to be potty trained.  He knew better, just did it anyway whenever you left for work.
